Just how many diff arrangemnts are there? I am familiar with the RP and later. Later editions of Wyatt illustrate two others, both fathomable. The above is yet another but the workings not fathomable by me.

This one Bob.  But it is a late 1938 axle. Tab locking washer is used.  I would recommend the little A7 adjustable but don't carry it in the tool-roll!

The drawing of the New pinion mounting I included was taken from the Austin Companion but it first appeared in Austin Seven Journal for March April 1931, page 67 under 'Renewing Axle Bevels and Crown Wheels'. 

I am writing an extract from the Service Journals and Spare Parts Lists on this rather confusing period !
