RE: Tony Dron - Colin Cooke - 18-11-2021 I was in awe of Tony, his racing life and all the wonderful cars he had driven. But what I loved most about him, was his enthusiasm for driving his Austin 7. It was always a pleasure to guide him to his parking space at Beaulieu, when I would always grab the opportunity to have a chat with him. Very sad. Colin RE: Tony Dron - Chris Garner - 18-11-2021 Incredibly Tony attended this year's Beaulieu, driving alone from Cambridge and back in his RM saloon. He spent most of the day in his car with a cylinder of oxygen to assist his breathing on the passenger seat, but was very cheerful. The sad thing is that knowing the engine needed work he will not now be able to enjoy the rebuild currently being undertaken.
