I cannot see from your picture whether you still have the original quarter elliptic leaf springs. The coils and rubber cushions look heavy enough to be the current rear suspension, after removal of the leaf springs. Unless the non-standard frame carrying the new system is properly mounted to the chassis the present arrangement looks like a recipe for things bending where they should not. My instinct is to recommend reverting to the standard system.

I am with Robert revert to original,
they are just a helper setup for over loading and not needed on a two seater. And not very well Engineered

leaf springs are still there. This "thing" is just added. 3-0 for removing it (added my opinion to yours)

My Arrow is not light at the rear especially with the spare wheel hanging out there. When I first got her back on the road she was unusable as the rear wings would bottom out on the slightest of kerb or speed hump. I replaced the rear springs with new sports ones from Ian Dunford and also cut 30mm out of the (freshly painted) wings Rolleyes 

I still have to replace the front spring but I suspect the rear will still be low relative to the front when I do.

Its likely the previous owner had similar issues so it may pay to. One, consider new springs for the rear and two, consider getting ones either stiffer or with more camber than the standard Dunford sports springs.

Fit standard Chummy springs which are more cambered and not Sports which are flatter.

I think my car is already higher than it shoud be.
I know that sport springs have negative camber and standard springs have positive camber. Mine are virtually flat, both front and rear, maybe they have been arched from someone who didn't know or had probelms.

But me, newby and from Italy, I do not know who are you talking about.
It should be very useful to have a list of parts supplier (I will have to buy a lot). Is there any topic about this in the forum?

Be very careful when assessing what is original on this car, my experience of Arrow cars, admittedly limited to one foursome we discovered here in NZ is that the chassis modifications and some of the body woodwork are, shall we say "Agricultural". I agree that the coil springs are a latter addition but don't discount some of the apparently "home made framing additions" you may well find they are as it left the Arrow factory.
Arrow registrar Jim Blacklock has some extensive pictures of original cars undergoing restoration and he would be well worth talking to.
