RE: "go and buy a Caterham instead..." - Reckless Rat - 04-01-2018 The 620R develops 310bhp - that means 542 brake horsepower per tonne - that's freaking awesome! Not quite Bugatti Chiron territory (750php/tonne), but "Mon Dieu". I must admit I'd like a 160 with the Suzuki engine in. The wife and I had a Suzuki Cappucino 20 years ago and I assume the 160 engine is a very similar 3 cylinder job. I like the retro look of the 160 version of the car. Arthur RE: "go and buy a Caterham instead..." - Reckless Rat - 04-01-2018 I always wondered about the little 3 pot 800cc motor out of a Daewoo Matiz. Develops 52bhp. Plenty of them about in scrap yards and the engine is a simple single point injection lump without turbo. Our family hand me down Matiz finally went to the breaker as a trade in, with over 100K miles on the clock. Was still going strong. |
