RE: Inlet/exhaust manifold removal - Captain Mike - 11-07-2021 Just done this job myself, what a bitch, I used heat and a block of wood and loads of wd 40 until I got a 5 mm gap then used a heavy hammer and a ball joi t splitter into the gap it took three sessions to get it off and it was only one stud that was holding it back, it held on right up to the laser couple of mm before it came away from the stud, ball joint splitter is ideal for this job Mike RE: Inlet/exhaust manifold removal - richard wyatt - 11-07-2021 Mike you have perpetuated a common misconception by using WD 40;whilst it is useful stuff ,a proper agent such as "Plus gas" will give superior results, RE: Inlet/exhaust manifold removal - Bill Dixon - 11-07-2021 Yes Richard Plus gas every time for me. Bill Dixon. RE: Inlet/exhaust manifold removal - Chris Garner - 11-07-2021 +1 from me, Richard and Bill!
