RE: Nobby assisters - Reckless Rat - 19-01-2021 Renaud, et al I have just helped someone go through the FFVE process in order to register a 1960's E-Type as a véhicule de collection, and the FFVE procedure is very similar to that outlined by Bob, except for the Certificate of Conformity and a few less photos. However, once the dossier is complete the waiting time is only 4 weeks. My mate now has his "attestation" and now just has to get the car through the Contrôle Technique and he can register it on-line. He's getting used to the "system" as he has two "moderns" to register as well. There is no point in having a bloated bureaucracy if you don't put it to good use. The French are very good at it, although they have made the residency application for British ex-pats following Brexit a very easy procedure. RE: Nobby assisters - bob46320 - 19-01-2021 Bruce, apparently there is a hitch gaining a French driving licence by surrendering your UK licence since Brexit. Currently ANTS does not recognise the UK licences ! RE: Nobby assisters - Steve kay - 20-01-2021 Time to move back to the subject of springs. The pair pictured here are evidently not the product of Mr Clark. They are said to have been fitted as an original extra, on a Chummy. Forumists may recognise them, or Mr Betts might give further info as to their origin. RE: Nobby assisters - David.H - 20-01-2021 Mr Clark fitted his the other way up perhaps? |
