I finish these with heat shrink as well. As well as insulating, it makes the whole thing more robust and less prone to failing in the long term through vibration.

They are an eBay purchase listed as EPDM wire reinforced hose (32mm).  Sorry can’t seem to copy and paste the listing.  I made the clips myself from 12mm brass strip.
