RE: Spade end plug leads - Steve Jones - 30-08-2020 I finish these with heat shrink as well. As well as insulating, it makes the whole thing more robust and less prone to failing in the long term through vibration. Steve RE: Spade end plug leads - Howard Wright - 30-08-2020 Ditto RE: Spade end plug leads - A G Wood - 31-08-2020 Hmm, after seeing Howard's set up I can see I will have to remove some of the "patina" on my engine... RE: Spade end plug leads - Howard Wright - 31-08-2020 Don’t Unless you want to swap it for mine . It’s a new build so hopefully it will tone down soon. Cheers Howard RE: Spade end plug leads - bobthompson - 01-09-2020 Love the hoses - where do they come from? RE: Spade end plug leads - Howard Wright - 01-09-2020 Hi Bob They are an eBay purchase listed as EPDM wire reinforced hose (32mm). Sorry can’t seem to copy and paste the listing. I made the clips myself from 12mm brass strip. Hope that helps? Cheers Howard RE: Spade end plug leads - bobthompson - 01-09-2020 Brilliant! Ordered. Thanks |
