As a schoolboy I was passed a lot of bike magazines from a cousin and Seven powered were quite common. Modern bikers may not be impressed by 13 bhp (from 750!) and I often wonder what contemporaries thought. But the roads were very different, 45 mph often a good pace, and a tractable bike more appreciated then. Is anyone old enough to have expereinced?
