I'm with Mike on this. As the lights both front and rear, number plate, wheels, steering-wheel controls and right-hand drive all seem to be standard Seven, whoever built the car must have had a complete UK-sourced car to work with and made no effort at all to "Americanise" other than its styling. The cost of tooling to stamp the body panels and wings must have been considerable - an investment obvious lost in its entirety.
