Probably best to have a good selection of different beers to hand, once you gave finished them you should have enough cans of various thickness to do the job!

I'm not sure all this cold canned beer would meet with the requirements of the shim as envisaged in Zen and the art of Austin 7 maintenance....
I prefer draught at just below room temperature, I'll fix the car later.

We found my fathers Cafe Creme cigar tins made excellent suspension shims for the race Nova, I seem to remember the tin was 10 thou thick.
