Hi, There was nothing to suggest that the body and chassis were incorrect on BKX 722 when in my friends possession. It was taxed, insured and MOT several times whilst in his possession. It is a mystery to me why the number was apparently switched to a later car for the making of "Year of the Comet".

could it have been because they needed two cars for the film... in case one broke etc. number plates just duplicated for "another Ruby"?

Apologies for reviving a 5 year old thread.

My dad now owns this car. He bought it from Nigel Snow about 10 years ago.

The post mentioning she'd moved to the south west was correct, my parents live in South Gloucestershire.

Thank you for pointing us to the Year of the Comet. We didn't have any knowledge of her appearing in a film and would love to know how you found that out! We have all enjoyed watching it since discovering this thread.
