It would appear as if Mr Hood was not averse to swapping registration numbers when it suited! Another eBay seller, another photo, this time the Gosport Speed Trial in 1955, but surely BXM 812 is the same car seen previously as BPH 995?

DV 9602 was Frank Tiedeman's Ulster - it was sold at Bonhams Goodwood sale in 2014 for £15,000.
It needed quite a lot of work to make it race worthy again .
No doubt it will re-appear at some time in the future as a genuine car !

If austin make the first car say called a ruby are all the ruby's after the first one is a copy!. what makes a genuine car that is my question?
