Car boot sales are another likely source of Whitworth tooling and sockets. I've obtained several sets of Britool spanners and 1/2" drive sockets (including 3/4 WW) at these events, especally where people are clearing Grandparents effects. I even managed to get a 3/4" drive set, including a Britool 3/4 WW socket at our local boot sale!

My car has different size half shaft nuts on each side just to confuse the issue!
