Nothing... the battery won't hold charge. Funny that the moderns all start despite little use but the ORT which has been used and maintained on a trickle charger is as dead as a dodo.

Is it an optical illusion that the the cockpit cutaway looks shallower on that TT car body. And it looks like the superb VE **** blown car that used to frequent occasional TW centre meetings underneath, it -lovely looking car even if not that one.

With New Zealand having done so well at eliminating Covid-19 completely I understand that there is currently a petition going around for the UK government to Declare war on us and then immediately surrender so that our government is forced to take over the running of Britain.......!

Bob, I recall staying at the Duke of Marlborough Hotel in Russell. A wonderful old building constructed almost entirely of wood ( something you very rarely see in the UK) but I was amazed that like most buildings in New Zealand it was fitted out with a tin roof.

Off Sevens a bit but may interest some. Sheet corrugated iron roofs have always been and are still popular here. In the dry areas have lasted over 100 years. Iron came from Oz. Possibly in UK the acid rain in many parts discouraged. My grandfather was a traditonal English lead worker plumber and he loathed them , esp during the Depression when very extensively patched. Called it fowl house plumbing. Scaffolding rules and hourly rates now lead to complete replacements instead of patching. .

It's my garage, looking a bit full at the moment as there is a Morris Minor 1000 undergoing major surgery in there as well, (along with a lot of other "stuff").
We were talking about the differences between the two body shapes, they are very different, dad also bought down the 1/4 scale model of it. It's almost Bugatti Type 35 / Salmson in shape, a fair bit narrower so proportions all changed.
The green Ulster underneath is a replica built when dad worked for the then owner of VE 4492, built alongside VE so very accurate, (although sadly missing a supercharger).
Picture shows VE with my mother in it and our replica on our wedding day.
