Another street scene for you this month, probably dating from the late 1950s, so the Ruby has yet to experience its first MOT Test.

Google seems to think this may be Sheffield. Atkinsons has been trading there for 150 years.

Apart from losing its front bumper along the way, it looks to be in good shape, but it is only about 20 years old.

Sheffield buses were never that colour. I used to have a Standard 8 the same as the one in front of the bus and that was a 1955

Ruby registration CVR is Manchester September 1936 to July 1937, which is right for a New Ruby.
