Austin Seven Comet - Pre Restoration Photographs

The above photograph shows some of the many boxes that made up the dismantled "Comet". Bruce purchased the car from Rod Wells (shown in the photograph). Rod originally purchased the "Comet" in 1959 and drove the car for many years in Sydney before dismantling the car in the 1980's for restoration.

This photograph shows the first 'bolting together' of the body components. The red paint under the windscreen pillar was found to be the best original colour sample. This colour was used in the restoration of the "Comet".
