Timing gear cover modifications


This modification replaces the original felt seal with a standard oil seal. The felt seal is removed and the opening in the timing gear cover is machined to suit the new oil seal. The camshaft pulley is machined to suit a stainless steel "Speedi-Sleeve". Loctite 515 "Master Gasket" is then used to provide the oil seal between the housing and the crankcase. The 515 sealant is also used to provide the oil seal when reassembling the generator housing. (click on bold text for details)
